Dear Lovelies,
For my first blog post I would just like to give a shout out to all of my friends and family. The support and love that I have received before, during, and after this trip has been truly a blessing.
For these 8 days I will be touring the city, trying the new cuisine, and making bright new connections with the people that I encounter.
As for my plans before setting off, I look forward to the Louvre and Eiffel Tower tours. I think that, these being some of the most important landmarks in Paris, it will be very interesting to experience and see these sights up close and in person. The next event that I look forward to will be the Little Africa Tour. I am looking forward to this tour because I know that the cuisine will be unlike the foods I have ever had before.
One of the things I pride myself on is my love for new cultures and languages. So, I felt some worries when I had not started the Duolingo courses weeks in advance. The french language is not something I have had any previous experience with so I was concerned for how I would be treated upon arriving in Paris.
